I believe that the colouring edited within the footage has given it a vintage feel along with the noise to further support this effect. The choice of mise-en-scene has also given this music video a feel of 1920s. Additionally, it includes the performance of the artist herself as well as the orchestra, which illustrates the music being played in the background. The lyrics also hints relationships with the novel and movie The Great Gatsby, because both media products focus on the general plot of a girl's love back in 1920s when it was set.
