Research: Initial Audience Research

My typical audience is someone who fits in the teenage/young adult age boundary of any gender. They're at their stage of life where they attend university or college and studying into their chosen career. They will most likely be studying something creative, such as art, drama, design & technology, music, or something experimental such as science-relating subjects. The type of music performed by Glass Animals fits these subjects as they're topics where students can explore many things, and I believe that the playlist on the album Zaba can further encourage students to do so with the funky, atmospheric sounds. Their music interests have to be anything close to alternative, indie or even trippy music as these usually tend to be underground music. This type of music can usually be listened to live through small gigs, which are perfect artist performances for those that are quiet. These are attended from time to time however due to the masses of studying and coursework, they spend more time streaming the music or listening to it on their iPods or iPhones.

Part of the students' hobbies have to be an interest in travelling because this also extends the exploration of the world. It also fulfills the curiosity contained within the listener. Because they're not the best sociable people, they prefer travelling alone or with a few friends.

They're someone who stays up late at night on their computer streaming music on Soundcloud and downloading sounds (often illegally) to their apple products. However, they support their favorite artists and purchase their physical CDs. They manage to do so with the help of a few cups of coffee a day.

They do dedicate a lot of time studying in order to successfully get the career they want, however there is always music streamed in the background in order to set the perfect atmosphere to go with the coffee's aroma.

They will usually own a few earphones in case the other ones break in order to have access to their music to themselves at all times. These will usually be of good quality and the student will spend big money for the best ones for great music experience.
